COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Neutra VDL House will be closed until it's safe to reopen.

A self-guided walk-through is available here.

The Neutra VDL House II is open for tours on Saturdays from 11am to 3pm. Visitation is by reservation only. Tours are given by Cal Poly Pomona Architecture students and are typically 30 minutes long. There is street parking off Silver Lake Blvd. Last tour starts at 2:30pm.

Tours are $15/person for adults, $10 for seniors/students/faculty. Tours are free for children under 15, press, museum curators, and Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty and staff. All proceeds from the tours go towards the maintenance and restoration of the house.

The VDL House is also used for cultural events and artist residencies. Artists live at the house and create an original in-situ installation. Installations are up for a period of 1-2 months. Prior installations were created by Santiago Borja (2010), Xavier Veilhan (2012), Bryony Roberts (2013), Competing Utopias with the Wende Museum (2014), Luis Callejas (2015), Les Frères Chapuisat (2016), Tu casa es mi casa - Frida Escobedo, Pedro y Juana, Tezontle (2017), BLESS (2018), Mark Cottle (2019), and Shio Kusaka (2020). For more information about upcoming events and past artist-in-residence installation visit our Programs page.

The house is located at 2300 Silver Lake Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90039.

The Neutra VDL Studio and Residences is under the stewardship of the College of Environmental Design (ENV) and Department of Architecture (CPP ARC) at Cal Poly Pomona.
